This Privacy Policy explains how the Treatment Timeline mobile application for iPhone and iPad processes information. The app is operated by the developer of Treatment Timeline. You can contact the developer using the details provided in the Support section below.
Treatment Timeline does not require registration or a user account. The app is designed to help users keep their own treatment and well-being records. It is not a medical device, does not provide a diagnosis, and does not provide medical advice.
Users may voluntarily enter or create the following information in the app:
Some of this information may be considered sensitive health information. Users decide what information to enter into the app.
Information is processed on the device only to provide the app’s features, including:
Treatment Timeline does not use this information for advertising, profiling, diagnosis, treatment-effectiveness assessment, or automated medical decision-making.
Treatment records are stored locally using Core Data, app settings are stored in UserDefaults, and attached photographs are stored in the app’s protected directory. iOS Data Protection is applied to local health-data files. The developer does not receive a copy of the local database and does not provide cloud synchronization.
Treatment Timeline marks the Core Data health database and attached-photo directory as excluded from device backups and iCloud Backup. This exclusion is handled by iOS. The app does not create or upload cloud copies of health data. App settings that do not contain treatment history may be included in an iOS device backup.
Treatment Timeline may use the following iOS features:
Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
Premium subscriptions are purchased through StoreKit and processed by Apple. Treatment Timeline receives only the App Store information required to verify whether a subscription is active. The app does not have access to payment-card or banking details and does not send purchase or transaction information to a developer-operated server.
Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing and the user’s Apple Account.
Treatment Timeline contains no advertising, advertising SDKs, cross-app or cross-website tracking, or third-party product analytics SDKs. The app does not automatically send health information to the developer or other third parties.
When a user creates an export, generates a report, or uses the iOS Share Sheet, the user chooses the recipient and service. This transfer occurs only after an explicit user action. Once information has been shared, Treatment Timeline cannot control copies held by the recipient or service. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
Apple system services are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Local information remains on the device until one of the following occurs:
There is no separate server-retention period because the app does not send this information to a developer-operated server.
Users can create a local JSON export and delete all app data from Settings. Deletion includes treatment information, dose history, check-ins, notes, photographs, questions for a healthcare professional, app settings, and notifications managed by the app. Treatment Timeline cannot restore deleted information.
Exported files, PDF reports, and information previously shared through the iOS Share Sheet must be deleted separately from the apps, services, recipients, or locations to which they were saved or sent.
Treatment Timeline uses iOS security features and supports local app locking with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their device with a passcode, keep iOS up to date, and carefully choose recipients for exported health information.
Treatment Timeline is not specifically directed to children and does not collect age information. Where required by applicable law, minors should use the app with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian and a healthcare professional.
Because treatment information remains on the user’s device and is not transferred to the developer, users access, correct, export, and delete that information directly through the app and iOS. Requests concerning a copy previously shared with a third party should be directed to the relevant recipient or service.
This policy may be updated when the app’s functionality or applicable legal requirements change. If the way information is processed changes materially, the app will provide an updated policy and request new consent where required. The effective date and version of the current policy are shown at the beginning of this document.
